The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
